The teams were drafted from a composite of players from the following seasons: 1901, 1931, 1964, 1975, 2005. Each division winner qualifies for post season play with two wild card teams with the next best record entering in as well. In the table below, the standings will be updated in weekly, 10-game or monthly increments throughout the season. In addition, summary capsules will be provided for additional coverage...

Appalachia  With a mediocre 15-14 run over the last month, Gettysburg has increased its lead in the division to 6 games. Led by Rogers Hornsby (82 for 299 - .274; 7 HRs; 46 RBIs; 29 Runs, 7 SBs), Bengie Molina (91 for 338- .269; 4 HRs; 43 RBIs; 28 Runs; 29 for 82 - .354 for the month), Bill White (75 for 283 - .265; 4 HRs; 31 RBIs; 39 Runs). and power broker Alex Rodriguez (28 HRs), the Minutemen seemed primed to take the division with only 30 games left! On the hill, their pitching has been outstanding as Pete Alexander (16-6; 1.87 ERA) has been nearly un-hittable although has settled in a bit of late losing 3 of 4 decisions. Noodles Hahn (18-11; 3.30 ERA) , has paced the staff in wins and Derrick Turnbow has saved 26 games with a 1.14 ERA. Gettysburg has kept their pitching together with smoke and mirrors while being in the bottom portion of the league standings for ERA. At 9-15 over the last 24, Sussex has damaged their chances at the division, but remain in contention for the wildcard. The Senators have been paced by Shanty Hogan (104 for 325 - .320; 6 HRs; 36 RBIs; 40 Runs;), Johnny Frederick (106 for 357 - .310; 8 HRs; 39 RBIs; 43 Runs) and Lou Gehrig (109 for 378 - .288; 26 HRs; 69 RBIs; 71 Runs - 28 for 71 - .394; 6 HRs; 17 RBIs for the month). Jesse Barnes (15-7; 2.73 ERA) and Mike Cuellar (13-8; 2.75 ERA) continue to pace the staff.

The rest of the division: Albany leapt over Vermont (14-18) with a 18-13 clip and have been led by Bill Terry (.362). Maine at 19-11 (best in the division) drew closer to the pack after turning over their roster via trades...which has seemed to pay off.

  Tundra  After a wretched 9-20 month, Whitehorse now has the rest of the pack nipping at their heals. The Wolfpack has been led by Sam Rice (185 for 535- .346; 1 HRs; 42 RBIs; 76 Runs 43 for 113 .381 for month) and Freddie Lynn (128 for 469- .278; 7 HRs; 45 RBIs; 57 Runs). Manny Ramirez continues his struggles at the plate with a .224 average but he has still managed to provide pop with 24 homers and 64 RBIs. Bob Bruce leads staff relievers with a minuscule 2.04 ERA. Al McBean leads pitchers with 19 saves. At 16-11, New Foundland leapt over 2 teams and are just 2 games out of first! The Hillcats boast 3 front-line pitchers with double digit victories in Lee Meadows (11-10 3.52 ERA) D Ruether (11-13 3.55 ERA) and Ken Holtzman (12-11 3.57 ERA).  Nunavut at 13-14 has been able to play competitive over the duration. The Condors at 3 1/2 games out have been paced by Al Simmons (103 for 313- .329; 15 HRs; 43 RBIs; 58 Runs) and Pete Ward (117 for 429- .276; 9 HRs; 56 RBIs; 49 Runs) on offence. Jon Matlack (11-7; 2.65) has led all pitchers. 

The rest of the division: Yellowknife at 14-16 is 5 games behind in 4th but needs a run desparately. The Lumberjacks offense has been paced Ted Simmons (126 for 429- .294; 7 HRs; 45 RBIs; 30 Runs). Prince Edward Island has dropped 19 of 31 contests and stand mired last in the division.

Chesapeake  At 18-10, the BayBears from Towson stand alone in first place and increased their lead over the last 28 games to a full 7 1/2 games! Willie Keeler (127 for 442 - .287; 2 HRs; 41 RBIs; 48 Runs; 30 SBs) and rookie of the year candidate Aaron Campione (132 for 469 - .281; 27 HRs; 75 RBIs; 85 Runs) have paced the offense.  Towson boasts 4 10-game winners in Roger Clemens (13-4; 1.96 ERA), Tom Seaver (16-6; 2.71 ERA - 5-1 over the month), Aaron Heilman (10-4; 2.03 ERA) and new addition Sandy Koufax (11-8; 2.10 ERA).  At 13-20, West Virginia lost significant ground in the standings. The Cougars have been paced by Hippo Vaughn (12-11; 2.77 ERA) and Carl Hubell (12-7; 3.61 ERA) on the hill. Offensively, Marty McManus (115 for 393 - .293; 12 HRs; 41 RBIs, 59 Runs) and Babe Ruth (114 for 393 - .293; 27 HRs; 75 RBIs; 89 Runs) continue to pace the team. John Mayberry has provided additional power with 18 round-trippers. 

The rest of the division: The Ospreys' of South Carolina have checked in at 14-15 trying to stave off their neighbors from the North for 3rd place; the Silverhawks flew in at 11-17 for the month. Rockingham broke even at 14-14 and remain in the cellar of the Chesapeake Division

  Canadian After losing the division lead earlier this summer, Quebec reeled off a 21 -10 month to reclaim first place! The Nordiques have been paced by Al Orth who has done a fine job on the hill (15-7; 2.63 ERA; 1 Save) and Mickey Lolich (8-11; 2.75 ERA; 4 Saves) who has pitched well despite his losing record. Utilitymen Eddie Murphy (51 for 116- .440) and Frank Cross (43 for 100- .430) have been clutch with stalwart J Sheckard (150-483 .311; 5 HRs; 48 RBIs; 76 Runs; 21 SBs) leading the way on offense.  At 14-15 Calgary coughed up the lead but are in the thick of things. Led by Randy Jones (18-8; 2.53 ERA) and Dick Radatz (1-2; 2.06 ERA; 23 Saves) the Oil Barons intend on reclaiming the lead with only a 1 1/2 game separation.

The rest of the division: Saskatchewan logged in at 21-14 over their last 35 games and have crept into the race just 4.5 games out. The Blizzard has been led by Chuck Klein (175-502 .349; 33 HRs; 99 RBIs; 87 Runs)  Winnipeg went a disappointing 11-13 but still maintain hope. The Jets are 5 games out and are driven by Mel Ott (97 for 333 - .291; 56 Runs; 13 HRs; 47 RBIs) and Lefty O'Doul (46 for 147 - .313; 22 Runs; 8 HRs; 30 RBIs) while Hodd Eller (14-11; 3.21 ERA), Hank Thormahlen (10-5; 2.66 ERA) and Andy Pettitte (8-9; 2.61 ERA) lead the staff in wins.  

Sunbelt Lincoln at 19-12 this month lost a little of its divisional lead but Cyclone starters Camilo Pascual (12-4; 2.78 ERA), Phil Niekro (12-11; 3.42 ERA) and Johan Santana (11-8; 3.50 ERA) have paced the staff. Kiki Cuyler (169 for 549 - .308; 6 HRs; 44 RBIs; 94 Runs) and Jesse Burkett (121 for 407 - .295; 9 HRs; 57 RBIs; 92 Runs; 30 SBs) lead the club in batting and have had solid months respectively. At 22-10, Albuquerque has been on a tear while cutting into Lincoln's lead!  Led by Ed Figueroa (9-10; 3.60 ERA) and pitcher of the month Juan Marichal (18-11; 2.94 ERA - 7-0 0.65 ERA for month) the Renegades have kept pace. Offensively, Ollie Pickering (140 for 493 - .284; 30 SBs; 34 RBIs; 73 Runs) and Al Spohrer (85 for 299 - .284; 1 HR; 22 RBIs; 34 Runs) have provided much of the table setting for Albuquerque while Jim Edmonds (14 HRs) and Wally Burger 25 HRs - 9 HRs for month) have added the power.

The rest of the division: Kansas (16-12) has been paced by Eddie Morgan (135 for 437 - .309; 21 HRs; 60 RBIs; 66 Runs) and Adam Comorosky (160 for 509- .314; 13 HRs; 46 RBIs; 94 Runs). Salt Lake City at 11-19 have watched their playoff hopes fade along with Norman (8-20).

  Mexican At 20-11, Mexico City which has battled inconsistency after a torrid start find themselves back on top! The Aztecs have been paced by Ed Delehanty (131 for 464; .282; 6 HRs; 51 RBIs; 73 Runs; 24 SBs), Honus Wagner (152 for 477 .319; 5 HRs; 40 RBIs; 85 Runs; 37 SBs) and Pinky Whitney (126 for 430 - .293 37 Runs; 6 SBs). On the hill, Mexico City boasts 5 double-digit pitchers in wins: Dave Wickersham (12-9; 2.80 ERA), Steve Rogers (14-8; 2.70 ERA)Dontrelle Willis (11-10; 2.35 ERA), Chris Short (12-9; 2.89 ERA) and Ted Lewis (10-9; 2.56 ERA)  lead all starters with 12 wins and a solid 2.80 and 2.64 ERA respectively. Cancun at 16-13 for the month is just 2 games off the pace. Leading the Golden Incas are Pie Traynor (129 for 405 - .319;  4 HRs; 44 RBIs; 56 Runs), Ty Cobb (127 for 428 - .323; 4 HRs; 30 RBIs; 22 SBs; 61 Runs) and Albert Pujols (124 for 379 - .327; 18 HRs; 55 RBIs; 64 Runs).  Lefty Williams leads the staff (15-12; 2.77)

The rest of the divisionAt 10-18 for the month, the Mountaineers hit a landslide and are now 5 games off the frontrunners. Monterrey has been paced by 1930 Babe Ruth (125 for 422 - .296; 38 HRs; 83 RBIs; 92 Runs; 11 SBs; 126 BBs). Acapulco was 14-15 for the stretch and Cabo San Lucas went on a nice run with a 17-10 clip but with only 20 games left time is running out.

Appalachia  Gettysburg has has won 15 of 16 and has pulled ahead by 2 1/2 games. The Minutemen have been led by Rogers Hornsby (66 for 245 - .269; 6 HRs; 41 RBIs; 24 Runs), Bill White (58 for 219 - .265; 4 HRs; 26 RBIs; 30 Runs) and Jeff Kent (90 for 340 - .265; 11 HRs; 63 RBIs; 48 Runs). On the hill, their pitching has been unstoppable with Pete Alexander (13-2; 1.70 ERA) nearly un-hittable. with a minuscule 0.75 ERA, Derrick Turnbow has saved 20 games while the rest of the staff has kept the Minutemen in the ballgame on a consistent basis.  At 4-2 over the last 6, Sussex has lost ground in the division. The Senators have been paced by Shanty Hogan (86 for 258 - .333; 5 HRs; 32 RBIs; 34 Runs; 8-15 last 6 games) and Johnny Frederick (87 for 283 - .310; 6 HRs; 34 RBIs; 36 Runs). Jesse Barnes (13-4; 2.82 ERA) and Mike Cuellar (10-5; 2.43 ERA) have accounted nearly half of the staff's wins. Vermont fell further back and stand 8 games out with a 2-4 record. Albany checked in at 3-4 and are 11 games off the pace. Maine which has been struggling at the plate logged in at 2-5 for the week and remain buried in the division 15 1/2 games back.   Tundra  Whitehorse was winners of 3 of 4 this week after losing 8 of 10! Led by Sam Rice (142 for 422- .332; 1 HRs; 33 RBIs; 62 Runs) and Freddie Lynn (107 for 368- .291; 6 HRs; 36 RBIs; 49 Runs) they lead by 8 1/2 games. Manny Ramirez has struggled at the plate with a .233 average but has still managed to provide pop with 21 homers. Bob Bruce leads staff relievers with a minuscule 2.20 ERA. Al McBean leads pitchers with 17 saves. Nunavut at 2-2 the Condors must demonstrate more consistency. Al Simmons (77 for 240- .321; 15 HRs; 39 RBIs; 48 Runs) and Pete Ward (93 for 338- .275; 7 HRs; 43 RBIs; 39 Runs) have paced the team in hitting. Jon Matlack (9-4; 2.76) has led all pitchers.  Yellowknife at 3-4 remains a 1/2 game behind 2nd. The Lumberjacks offense has been paced Ted Simmons (99 for 332- .298; 4 HRs; 40 RBIs; 25 Runs). New Foundland checked in at 3-4 and Prince Edward Island lost 4 of 5 to fall further back.

On the hill, their pitching has been unstoppable with Pete Alexander (13-2; 1.00 ERA) nearly un-hittable. with a minuscule 0.82 ERA, Derrick Turnbow has saved 20 games while the rest of the staff has kept the Minutemen in the ballgame on a consistent basis.  At 7-3 over the last 10, Sussex has lost its lead in the division and trails Gettysburg by 1 1/2 games. The Senators have been paced by Shanty Hogan (78 for 243 - .321; 5 HRs; 31 RBIs; 27 Runs) and Johnny Frederick (83 for 268 - .310 13-33 last 10 games; 6 HRs; 33 RBIs; 33 Runs). Jesse Barnes (13-3; 2.77 ERA) and Mike Cuellar (10-4; 2.37 ERA) have accounted nearly half of the staff's wins. Vermont fell off the pace with a 3-5 record and stand 5 games out in third. Albany checked in at 3-7 and are 8 games off the pace. The Beacons from Maine checked in at 4-3 for the week but dropped a season high 12 games out of first. The GM has not ruled out any trades in order to help the team compete.   Tundra  Whitehorse at 2-8 over the last 10 games lost only 2 games from their division lead as the rest of the division played just as poorly! Once 17 games over .500, the Wolfpack have hit the skids hard. Led by Sam Rice (131 for 402 - .326; 1 HRs; 30 RBIs; 56 Runs) and Freddie Lynn (102 for 359 - .284; 6 HRs; 36 RBIs; 23 SHs) they lead by 7 1/2 games. Manny Ramirez has struggled at the plate with a .223 average but has still managed to provide pop with 19 homers. Bob Bruce leads staff relievers with a minuscule 2.10 ERA while 4 other relievers have boast ERAs below 2.50. Al McBean has been un-hittable in the closer role with 17 saves. The team staff is a tidy 2.97! Nunavut at 7-3 has begun to make some noise but must demonstrate more consistency. This is the first time the Condors have made the headlines after leaping over Yellowknife. Al Simmons (72 for 225 - .320; 15 HRs; 39 RBIs; 45 Runs) has been on a tear along with Ben Chapman (52 for 184 - .283; 3 HRs; 26 RBIs; 20 Runs). Jon Matlack (9-4; 2.76) has led all pitchers. Losers of 7 out of 10 and At 23 out of 37, Yellowknife has fallen into 3rd place a 1/2 game behind 2nd. The Lumberjacks offense has been paced Ted Simmons (97 for 315 - .301; 4 HRs; 39 RBIs; 25 Runs). New Foundland at 7-4 picked up four games in the standings and remain in 4th 8 1/2 games out.

Offensively, Marty McManus (83 for 267 - .311; 9 HRs; 31 RBIs) and Babe Ruth (83 for 289 - .287; 21 HRs; 57 RBIs; 69 Runs) lead the team. John Mayberry has provided additional power with 16 round-trippers.  Towson, at 6-4, has been led by Willie Keeler (99 for 332 - .298; 2 HRs; 32 RBIs; 36 Runs; 25 SBs), and rookie of the year candidate Aaron Campione (98 for 349 - .281; 22 HRs; 51 RBIs; 62 Runs) on offense. Tony Lazzieri (68 for 274 - .248; 3 HRs; 31 RBIs; 34 Runs) has been bothered by a tight hamstring. Towson boasts 3 10-game winners in: Roger Clemens (10-2; 1.85 ERA) and Tom Seaver (10-5; 2.60 ERA) while Aaron Heilman (10-3; 2.28 ERA) who earlier had been roughed up returned to form. The battle of the Carolina's have heated up as the Ospreys' have checked in at 7-3 while their northern neighbors logged a respectable 6-4 to keep pace.   Canadian Calgary with a 6-1 mark slipped into first! The Oil Barons have been led by Randy Jones (15-6; 2.50 ERA) and Dick Radatz (1-2; 2.58 ERA; 18 Saves - 3 saves this week). With a 4-6 clip Kansas has overtaken Albuquerque. Offensively, Ollie Pickering (102 for 361 - .283; 19 SBs; 25 RBIs; 49 Runs) and Al Spohrer (64 for 215 - .298; 1 HR; 16 RBIs; 27 Runs) have provided much of the table setting while Jim Edmonds (9 HRs) and Wally Burger 14 HRs) have added the power.    Mexican After a sluggish month, Cancun finds itself leading the division! At 7-2 the Golden Incas have been led by Pie Traynor (88 for 280 - .314;  3 HRs; 48 RBIs; 44 Runs), Ty Cobb (92 for 295 - .312; 2 HRs; 19 RBIs; 15 SBs; 45 Runs) and Albert Pujols (94 for 282 - .333; 14 HRs; 38 RBIs; 51 Runs). At 6-3 the Mountaineers are only a 1/2 game out of 1st. Monterrey has been paced by 1930 Babe Ruth (94 for 308 - .305; 30 HRs; 65 RBIs; 75 Runs; 9 SBs; 101 BBs) and Von Joshua (105 for 357 - .294; 2 HRs; 46 RBIs; 14 SBs).  On the mound Monterrey has been led by Sudden Sam McDowell (7-2; 2.29) and Stan Coveleski (7-6; 3.32). At 6-4 Mexico City has battled inconsistency after a torrid start. The Aztecs have been paced by Ed Delehanty (99 for 332; .298; 5 HRs; 40 RBIs; 50 Runs; 20 SBs), Honus Wagner (107 for 351 .305; 5 HRs; 31 RBIs; 60 Runs; 24 SBs) and Pinky Whitney (91 for 303 - .300 25 Runs; 6 SBs). Dave Wickersham and Steve Rogers lead all starters with 9 wins and a solid 2.45 and 2.64 ERA respectively. At 5-5 Acapulco lost 2 games in the standings and are mired in 4th place.

Joel Horlen (11-5; 1.76 ERA) has led the staff in wins while relievers Tug McGraw and Bill Lee have recorded 9 saves and 7 saves respectively. On offense, Jimmy Foxx (63 for 186 - .339; 17 HRs; 42 RBIs; 45 Runs) and Glenn Wright (75 for 231 - .283; 8 HRs; 34 RBIs; 37 Runs) have paced the offense. Adam Dunn has hit 14 homeruns although he is hitting .160! At 13-14, Gettysburg has kept itself within striking distance of 1st. The Wolfpack has been led by Sam Rice (116 for 363 - .320; 1 HRs; 26 RBIs; 51 Runs) and Freddie Lynn (94 for 326 - .288; 6 HRs; 35 RBIs; 21 SHs).  Manny Ramirez has struggled at the plate but has still managed to provide pop with 18 homers. Bob Bruce leads staff relievers with a minuscule 2.09 ERA while 4 other relievers have boasted ERAs below 2.50. Al McBean has been un-hittable in the closer role with 16 saves. At 11-16 Yellowknife has fallen hard in the standings but still able to hold a sturdy lead on 2nd place. The Lumberjacks offense has been paced by Goose Goslin (7 for 58 over the month) who has struggled while battling a sore wrist. Ted Simmons (87 for 282 - .301; 4 HRs; 36 RBIs; 23 Runs) has been on a tear and increased his batting average 13 points while Whitey Ford (10-5; 2.32) has been stingy on the mound and has been victimized by several no decisions after leaving with a lead. Of the remaining teams in the division, only Prince Edward Island has played consistent enough to move up the standings despite being in the basement. Joe Torre (63 for 191 - .330; 1 HRs; 23 RBIs; 17 Runs) has paced the Seawolves "O" while Milt Pappas leads the staff in wins with 10.
Chesapeake  At 15-12, the division leading West Virginia Cougars managed to increase their lead to 2 1/2 games after a dry spell early in the month. The Cougars have been led by steady Hippo Vaughn (10-6; 2.37 ERA) and Carl Hubell (9-5; 3.37 ERA) on the hill. Bob Apodaca (0-3; 2.30 ERA 14 Saves) has blown 2 saves of late and recorded only 1 save for the month. Towson boasts 3 8-game winners in: Roger Clemens (10-1; 1.52 ERA) and Tom Seaver (9-4; 2.49 ERA) while Aaron Heilman (8-3; 2.68 ERA) who had been un-hittable earlier has been roughed up of late (11 earned runs in 16 innings).   Canadian At 16-13 for the month, Winnipeg has played well enough to take over the division lead! The Jets gradually crept up and overtook 2nd place early in the month as they have been tough on the opposition. Mel Ott (67 for 229 - .293; 40 Runs; 9 HRs; 33 RBIs) and Lefty O'Doul (39 for 117 - .333; 18 Runs; 5 HRs; 24 RBIs) have provided the offense while Hodd Eller (11-6; 3.28 ERA) and Hank Thormahlen (8-2; 2.59 ERA) lead the staff in wins. Calgary has sported a 16-11 record which was the best in the division for the month and it enabled them to draw within 1 game of the lead! The Oil Barons have been paced by Randy Jones (12-6; 2.69 ERA) and Dick Radatz (1-1; 2.39 ERA; 14 Saves). Quebec has lost 22 of 36 while losing the division lead in the process. Sunbelt Lincoln broke away from the pack with an impressive month at 16-10! Cyclone starters Camilo Pascual (7-3; 3.03 ERA), Phil Niekro (7-9; 4.08 ERA) and Johan Santana (7-5; 3.98 ERA) have paced the staff. Appalachia The Beacons from Downeast went 6-3 for the week to take a share of 1st place! Leading the league in steals (38) and sacrifices (38) Maine's brand of "small ball" has worked so far in this young season. Led by Cy Young (4-3; 2.77 ERA) and Dean Chance (4-2; 3.17 ERA) the Beacons have been able to keep teams off balance. In Gettysburg, the Minutemen stumbled at 3-5 to draw even for the top position.  Pete Alexander (4-2; 2.35 ERA) leads staff hurlers and Don Lock (24 for 71 - ..338; 4 HRs; 14 RBIs; 9 Runs) and Bill White (28 for 86 - .326; 4 HRs; 14 RBIs; 15 Runs) have paced a balanced offense. Sussex at 5-3 for the week, is just a 1/2 game off the pace in this tight divisional race that has had 5 different teams claim thier share of 1st over the last 6 weeks!   Tundra  In the great white north, Whitehorse checked in at 6-2 and now lead the division by 1 game! The Wolfpack has been led by Richie Sexon (33 for 116 - .284; 8 HRs; 28 RBIs - 10 RBIs for the week) and Freddie Lynn (47 for 138 - .341; 3 HRs; 17 RBIs) who have been pounding the ball. Yellowknife who is close behind logged in at 5-3. The Lumberjacks offense has been paced by Goose Goslin (30 for 104 - .288; 5 HRs; 15 RBIs) while Whitey Ford (7-2; 2.56) has been stingy on the mound.
Chesapeake  The streaking West Virginia Cougars have won 18 of 22 games to take a 4 game division lead. The Cougars have been led by Hippo Vaughn (5-2; 1.66 ERA), Bob Apodaca (0-0; 0.49 ERA 10 Saves) and Carl Hubell (5-3; 4.11 ERA) on the hill. Offensively, Marty McManus (35 for 114 - .307; 6 HRs; 20 RBIs) and Babe Ruth (35 for 118 - .297; 8 HRs; 19 RBIs) lead the team. Towson posted a 2-1 mark for the week after several rainouts. The Baybears have been led by Willie Keeler (39 for 106 - .368; 10 RBIs; 15 Runs; 8 SBs) on offense.   Canadian The Quebec Nordiques (4-4) broke even but now lead the division by a 1/2 game! They have been led by the offense of Gabby Hartnett (35 for 102 - .343; 13 HRs; 25 RBIs), Adam Kennedy (22 for 81 - ..271; 9 RBIs) and Jimmy Sheckard (41 for 141 - .291; 2 HRs; 15 RBIs). Winnipeg at 3-5 for the week trail the Nords by a slim margin. Pete Alexander (4-0; 1.77 ERA) led staff hurlers and Don Lock (17 for 47 - .362; 4 HRs; 11 RBIs; 8 Runs) paced a balanced offense for the Minutemen. Vermont which has won 6 of 8 are just a 1/2 game behind the leaders. The Quarry Blasters have 2 hitters batting over .360 in Fred Clarke (24 for 64 - .375; 1 HRs; 5 RBIs; 12 Runs) and Jimmy Foxx (22 for 60 - .367; 4 HRs;11 RBIs; 13 Runs).   Tundra  New Foundland, Whitehorse and Yellowknife are separated by only 1 game in this tight division race! Whitehorse at 3-4 has been inconsistent and are tied for 2nd a game back. Richie Sexon (24 for 89 - .270; 7 HRs; 18 RBIs) has been pounding the ball definitively. New Foundland at 4-3 is being led by Ken Holtzman (4-2; 3.14 ERA) on the mound and Chick Hafey (27 for 80 - .338; 4 HRs; 13 RBIs) on offense! The Cyclones have been led by Jesse Burkett (26 for 77 - .338) and on the mound they have been paced by Camilo Pascual (3-0; 2.92 ERA).   Mexican Mexico City showed a little mortality this week going 2-5. Honus Wagner (30 for 73 - .449; 19 Runs; 5 SBs) leads all hitters in hits and Mickey Mantle (15 for 62 - .242; 5 HRs; 20 RBIs) has provided the power. The Aztecs lead a tight race by 1 game over Monterrey and Cancun. Monterrey struggled also at a 2-5 mark for the week. The Mountaineers have been led by the 1930 Babe Ruth (22 for 62 - ..355; 7 HRs; 15 RBIs) and Von Joshua (28 for 81 - ..346; 1 HRs; 16 RBIs). Cancun entered into the mix with a steady 3-2 weekly mark!

New Foundland at 5-2 is using strong starting pitching to keep pace. The Hillcats are led by 4 pitchers who have at least 1 win with Ken Holtzman (2-0; 3.07 ERA) providing additional depth.
