This league
is represented by the cereal icon critters that
we have all grown to know and love from Kellogg's, General
Mills, Quaker and Post! I have developed rosters from cereal
icons of the past 100 years. Tune in as the Wheat, Rice, Oat and Corn Divisions battle for
the top spot in order to claim the coveted Cereal Bowl! In
addition, I have added two surprise teams from the New York area
to represent the beloved advertising icons we all grew up with.
Read about it as Green Giant tee's off against Hamburger Helper
or Tony the Tiger battles Toucan Sam in this unique, true
"fantasy league".....

1964
was a great year for baseball. Even though Philadelphia fans cringe at
the collapse of their beloved
Phils, both the
NL and
AL went wire-to-wire with several teams in each league. In the National
League: St. Louis, Philadelphia, Cincinnati, San Francisco and Milwaukee
were all separated by only 5 games! In the American League: New York,
Chicago and my
Orioles were only separated by 2 games! Eventually, the Cardinals and
Yankees played in the World Series as the Redbirds
prevailed behind Game 5 and Game 7 victories by Bob Gibson.
With this history in mind and with the help of
Strat-o-matic baseball fantasy sports games, I have again attempted to see if I can manage the Phillies and the Orioles into the
playoffs! I will also be posting the overall statistics and standings of this 1964 re-created season
which can be accessed by clicking on the division leader at the bottom the
page once you enter (above).
