Week 17 Action:

In the UFL, there is no confusion about the championship games being played in a different year than the regular season! In this league.....you are the champion of the year that you played and that champion ship goes to THE HACKERS!!!  With 6 stars, The Hack-Attack is the first franchise to go "back-to-back" in the 5th anniversary of the league and finished out week 17 at 10-6....Congratulations.

Winning the week for the 4th time were the Catwomen. Team Tabby clawed in at 11-5 and finished a distant 10 games behind the league leaders.  The much-improved Rulers were an impressive 10-6 along with the sizzling 1/4 Pounders.  The Jr. Jammers  also earned a coveted "star'' by winning the 2nd half! This award brings much wanted cash to the franchise! The Pounders checked in at 9-7 for the second consecutive week but fell to last place for the year after a disappointing season. The Toiletbrushers logged in at .500 for the week going 8-8. The Brushers tailed off of late but competed strongly in the 2nd half!  Lastly, the Mallers recorded a 7-9 mark while completed a disappointing 2006 season.

Week 16 Action:

In the next to the last week of the season there were no interesting changes here in the UFL. The feisty Rulers won their 4th week with an impressive 11-5 mark which ranks the best outside of the Hackers league leading 10 weeks won! The Hackers also went 11-5 and barring a complete meltdown in the final week, will become the first team to repeat championships! The sizzling 1/4 Pounders blasted their way into 2nd place with another impressive week going 10-6 and narrowly missing their 3rd consecutive week won with Monday Night's loss. The Jr. Jammers still have a hold on the 2nd half lead with only 16 games remaining. The Pounders checked in at 9-7 and have not been very excited about the last few weeks of the season due to sleepiness. The Catwomen purred in at 8-8 but have played well enough to take a shot at winning the 2nd half. The Toiletbrushers were again beaten down as home teams were brutally flushed into oblivion. This marks the 3rd week in a row where home is NOT the place to be and the T-brushers paid the price going 6-10. Likewise, the Mallers took a pounding where it hurts most as the holiday season closed down. Going 5-11 all but erased any hopes for a 2nd half win!

Week 15 Action:

Week 15 saw the red hot 1/4 Pounders win their 3rd straight week going an impressive 11-5. The Mini-hammers have been stellar on offensive of late using their running game to beat down the opposition. Next, the league leading Hackers bullied their way in with an 11-5 clip holding on to their 7 game lead but unable to cut into the 2nd half standings. The Catwomen rebounded nicely to complete the trifecta; also going 11-5. The Mini-Magistrates were an impressive 10-6 but that was only good enough for 2nd this week. Using their vaunted pass defense coverage, the Rulers stubbornly held offenses at bay! The sturdy, consistent and talented Toiletbrushers logged in at 9-7 and did not lose too much ground. The T-brushers have been showing signs of fatigue the 2nd half of the year. The much maligned Mallers checked in with another mediocre performance at 8-8. Unsure of their ways, the Mall-haters have been simply punching their ticket as of late. Last, the Pounders hung around for a 7-9 record good enough for last this week. The Pounders have been distracted this week and have fallen off the pace a bit.

Week 14 Action:

Week 14 action had the 1/4 Pounders winning consecutive weeks while making some serious noise during the closing weeks of the season. The Q-Pounders relentless pursuit of the opposition has allowed them to close to just 7 games on the front running Hackers while padding their 2nd half lead to 3 games over the Rulers!  The Mini-Magistrates were an impressive 9-7 and have kept pace using their stubborn offensive tactics. After a sub-.500 week the Catwomen bounded back into the fracas with a respectable 9-7 nip. The Mallers have played poorly as of late allowing the opposition to to steal from them like a bully taking a nerds lunch money!  The Mall-haters have been 13-19 over the last 2 weeks and appear to have been seriously distracted with franchise cash-flow concerns. The Pounders have been inconsistent but able to hang in this tough divisional race. Using their hammering ways the Pounders (8-8) have been driving their peers crazy. The Hackers may be feeling the effects of a long season with 2 7-9 weeks! The Meat-cleavers have not been able to effectively fend of the opposition and may have to resort to others dishonest tactics to win the division. The Toiletbrushers were a fetid 6-10 which marred their playoff hopes a bit but with 2 weeks left there are still stars to be won!
